For the past few summers, we've packed up the car extra crazy with everyone's bike along for vacation to Cape Cod. We're still in the planning stages for major vacations of the future but I was wondering if folks on the site have any suggestions for bicycling trips farther afield, whether with kids or just grownups.

There are certainly plenty of web sites offering advice. Kayak's Travel Post has a good starting point with an essay that links to more than half a dozen trip organizers and other sites for comparing tips. One organizer is called Escape Adventures and they offer trips all over the United States and Latin America. The site French Cycling Holidays offers just that - looks particularly enticing when the Tour de France is on.
