The Needham Summit on Energy and the Environment, a collaboration of Olin College, Needham League of Women Voters, and Green Needham, will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011 at Olin College. This will be an opportunity to discuss and work on a shared vision for our future in matters related to energy and the environment. Come and join us to set a direction for what our community can look like in 2020 and beyond. The forum will include

Program: 1. Conversation between David Cash and Anthony Brooks about the Massachusets 2020 plan and the roles of the state and communities in achieving it 2. Break-out groups on “what’s next,” – to generate and discuss ideas on what Needham could be in 2020 and how we might get there. Themes:
3. Summary by discussion groups Bicycle enthusiasts may be interested in any of these topics, but the transportation break-out session may be of particular interest. Hope to see you there!
