Get ConnectedWhat's HappeningThe mission of Needham Bikes is to make bicycling a safer and more common mode of transport in town. Our current focus is on two specific projects related to Needham biking: Bicycling Plan for Needham: Needham Bikes is working to create better, safer biking conditions in Needham by updating and implementing the twelve year old plan. The Bay Colony Rail Trail: Imagine biking from Needham to Medfield, 7 miles on a shared-use path through beautiful conservation land and over the Charles River. Needham Bikes supports the effort to convert those inactive tracks into a rail trail, for use by bicyclists, strollers, joggers, walkers and many other non-motorized travelers.
